Daksh Arora is an Indian student actor currently based in Udupi, pursuing his undergraduate studies at the Manipal Institute of Technology. Having grown up across Delhi and Kolkata, with a brief period in Bengaluru, his early exposure to multiple cities and cultures shaped his sensitivity toward human behavior, emotional contrast, and internal conflict—elements that later became central to his relationship with cinema and performance.

His love for films began with La La Land, a viewing experience that redefined storytelling for him and blurred the line between reality and imagination. Rather than watching cinema as a passive observer, Daksh approaches films by placing himself within their worlds—relating to characters, absorbing their emotional landscapes, and imagining himself living through their choices. This immersive way of engaging with cinema informs both his taste as a viewer and his discipline as an actor.

Daksh is particularly drawn to roles rooted in psychological depth, aggression, and moral ambiguity. He gravitates toward brutal and psychotic characters—the kind that provoke discomfort and are often meant to be hated—believing that the true success of a villain lies in how truthfully they are embodied. His artistic influences include Satyajit Ray, whose understanding of human complexity he deeply admires. While Schindler’s List remains a film that left a lasting emotional scar, Barfi continues to serve as a source of comfort and emotional warmth.

A student actor in formal training, Daksh is an active member of Aaina Dramatics, the leading dramatics student club of Manipal Institute of Technology, where he continues to refine his craft through theatre and performance-based learning.
